Went to the state fair and I just had to put this up for Scottie. I want to push this sheople metaphor a little bit. Does the judge behind the sheople represent AIPAC, Perle, or Wolfowitz?

I’m trying to figure out what’s on the judge’s mind – the one that’s standing right behind the sheep’s posterior?

Where was this picture taken?

Hey E, this is at the Ohio state fair. The competition is the white faced ewes. I think the judge is checking the posture and ribs of the ewe here. He got behind 11 sheep and did this. This ewe was the winner. I’m sure the judge was thinking, “Who’s your daddy?”

This is the old home place of Johnny B. My folks tore the roof off after the flood. FEMA should be coming soon to knock the rest of it down.

Christmas @ Cheniere au Tigre 2

For the uninitiated, the white cork balls in the previous post are corks for crab cages, which are set all over the gulf in this region of Louisiana. A day after Christmas they are still hanging from the trees here.

Mud boat

At Pecan Island, a town in West Vermilion parish town about 70 or so miles from the Texas border, there was still considerable debris three months after the storm. Here is a boat piled up with debris on the side of the road.
